I've been writing about Dreamweaver for many years now. It just seems rather odd to now be writing "Adobe's Dreamweaver", which I've just done for the third time today.

I guess I'll get used to it...

The possessive form is unnecessary. A mere "Adobe Dreamweaver" gets the point across thanks to the magic of, uh, compound nouns. Hmm. I sorta remember there being something else before. *trails off*

I know it took Macromedia a long time to deliver a consistent UI for their products, but I hope Adobe don't go and screw it up. I've never found their products easy to use. For me they never behave the way I expect. And I really, really hope Firefox doesn't disappear.

why on earth would Firefox disappear? - it has nothing whatsoever to do with Adobe.

Fire*works*, on the other hand ...

Yes, of course, I meant Fireworks.

Simon, it's probably your technical genius and my IT incompetance that is at fault, but I can't find your email address on this site !

This is Steve Andrews from Bath by the way, still putting up with Graham Bray and working for Waterstone's at Bath University again.

Email me on Manager@bath-uni.waterstones.co.uk

Say hi to Mary too !

Steve
