Technology, Books and Other Neat Stuff

Last night we wandered around the WhereFair at O'Reilly's Where 2.0 conference here in San Jose. It was an interesting mix of people and projects, with 360° HD video cameras, psychological studies of perception of distance, and scale models of satellite cameras with 50cm resolution.

However, one of the more fun projects on display was one that had produced a rather fantastic image - a gigapixel aerial view of Black Rock City and the Man, at the height of the 2009 Burning Man festival.
