No more, no less. Today (as I've said elsewhere) is the 15th birthday of SMS. It's surprising what you can say in a message: it could be a throw away comment or something important. But it's said.

The folk at the GizmoProject (a Skype alternative) have just put up a site for sending SMS texts to mobile phones in many different countries.

It's a bit on the slow side (so probably not for urgent messages), but it looks as though it's a good alternative to some of the more expensive methods out there, even if the CAPTCHAs mean you can't automate the process...
