The book that put nanotechnology on the map, K. Eric Drexler's The Engines Of Creation, is now available online for free.
Scary that it's now 20 years old...
Following links I see that Drexler is now working with Nanorex, a company developing software for modelling nanoscale engineering. It'll be interesting to take a look at the software when it comes out later this summer.
(I can happily predict various SF writers getting a whole new cat hoovering toy.)
