Strangely enough you and I are the only Ambient music fans in Fandom that I know. I saw the commercialism of Trance coming some years ago, and although I still buy Trance collections when cheap (or in a car boot sale) I don't really expect much from them. I don't know who is the successor to Brian Eno. I don't know who will replace The Orb, Orbital, FSOL,... maybe they will just continue to keep growing older, and fans like me will keep buying their stuff.
Maybe this will all turn into Gary Numan world....
(Does anyone else think that Simon lives in a distorted universe where in fact he has 27 hours in the day instead of our usual 24....?)
