What, Microsoft insist on its own proprietary solution, not available for a variety of platforms? No...

Not sure what you mean when Silverlight runs on Windows and MacOS, and the open Moonlight runs on Linux.

Seems pretty well covered to me.

Well, Moonlight apparently doesn't like recent Firefox versions (see critical bug relating to 3.0.10), crashes when looking at half the Microsoft examples (another critical bug) and, from the Mono Project, isn't available for recent Debian-based distros.

I don't much like Flash either, but it's available for more platforms.

Which runs on Windows, OS X, and (as Moonlight) on Linux. About as proprietary as Flash then...
