A new low for tat?

Spotted in a jewellers on Oxford Street:

A pewter statuette...

...of a dragon...

...wearing leathers...

...and aviator sunglasses...

...on a chopped motorcycle....

...with crystal wheels.

I'm not sure if it's possible to make it any tackier...

I think I speak for everyone when I say I am SO glad you didn't accompany that with a photo.

Maybe it's an anti-theft device, to put people off smashing the window by scaring them away.

plus

A unicorn (in pastel colours) in the sidecar, carrying a teddybear, which is cuddling a kitten. The unicorn is wearing a Charlie's Angels retro t-shirt and a peace emblem necklace.

... and the motorcycle has a bumper sticker (sure, why not) which says "Honk if you love Bilbo" and "my other bike is a landspeeder".

And the whole thing is inside a sparkly snowglobe ... that plays music! Probably "The Rainbow Connection" from the Muppet Movie ... as arranged by Liberace!

I recall some idiot trying to see "authentic" dreamcatchers with dolphins on. Guess you'd see a lot of those when crossing the plains with your tribe.

- real handstitched leathers
- a 'handpainted' flower fairy riding pillion
- lines of wizard hats and knight's shields on the petrol tank with crosses through...
