So here's where I spend my days. Three screens, two keyboards, four phones, lots of USB connected widgets, and far too many pens...

Load the really big version and you should see that I'm relatively up to date on my email, that I'm reading LJ, there aren't enough stickers on my monitor, that I have two multi tools and a Swiss Army Knife, that I haven't changed the date on my Snufkin calendar since May, I have a very dead fish, and I like my tea in a big mug. You'll also see the foot of an Intel Bunny Person, as well as my monitor lizard. No cats, though - they seem to prefer [livejournal.com profile] marypcb's desk (probably because she has the window).

Boss B looks in astonishment and says "He's got more pens than me..."

A new idea for a convention panel, "Hamiltonian Calligraphy".

Introducing the difference between yer-bog-standard pens, pens with LEDs, pens with colour-cycling LEDs, pens with lasers, pens with PDA pointers, CD-marker pens, metallic ink pens, etc., etc...

I'm more interested in what those games are up there on top right shelf...

Sadly there are only 4 there... and they're all old skool!

Homeworld, Age of Empires, Simcity 3000 and The Sims.

The fossil under the lefthand monitor, behind Snufkin's head...

I did say it was a very dead fish!

I don't stick stickers on my monitor (other than post-its), it seems wrong to defile my lovely TFT screen with stickers. And your keyboard looks remarkably clean.

that's because the cat fur is all on *my* keyboard...

My cats would never let me keep that many pens upright.

BTW, I like the "In the future everything will work" quote, hopeful but wrong. :-)

It's still a mess. And you use Windows. Hah.

It's tidier than it was... ...and I could have had a certain VMware image open...

You call that a mess..... I could post a picture of my uber messy desk (including empty coke cans, coffee cups and jaffa cake boxes)... With the little stack of 4 Mac Minis, the Three TFTs.. Think at a the last count there where 10 machines within arms reach of where I sit, and another 4 within swivel distance.

I really recommend the wireless version of that same (judging from the pic) keyboard and mouse combination. It's great to be able to just take the keyboard off the desk for a couple of minutes to use the space for writing or papers or pizza.

Also, shiny.
