Oh good grief. I have several WinXP systems and a Win2k3 system that have been running for months without a need for a fresh start. These are development systems too. I must say I haven't taken to the tablets as I find I can type much faster than I can scribble on a pad (or poke away at the pad's screen keyboard). My penmanship has gone downhill since I rarely write, mostly type, and so my inconsistent scrawls are a tough challenge on the recognizer. I do find I can write better (and faster) on a real piece of paper instead of the glass surface of a tablet. I guess I'll have to wait for that e-paper computer.

yes, you could smack Scoble upside the head for that one (well, I would but you're closer!). I don't reboot this system unless security patches demand it; why should I? If there aren't memory leaks, I won't need to. The memory leak in the TIP needs fixing, not me changing my behaviour.
