From various sources - including
landsmand and
tamaranth...
Of all the bands/artists in your cd/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?
Err - not sure. I have a lot of complete collections of artists, and a huge pile of themed trance CD collections. I'd like to say my nice collection of white labels and the like from South West London's greatest trance label, Platipus Records.
What was the last song you listened to (voluntarily)?
Natalie Imbruglia - The Essential Acoustic Album (Disc 1) - Wrong Impression
What's on your record player right now?
The Essential Acoustic Album (Disc 1)
What song would you say sums you up?
Urk. No idea. There are many I'd like to be, but that's not what the meme wants...
What's your favourite local band?
None. Or rather, I'm not plugged into the local music scene!
What was the last show you attended?
Peter Gabriel, Wembley, Summer 2004
What was the greatest show you've ever been to?
The Waterboys, January 2003
What's the shittiest band you've ever seen in concert?
The Chameleons, in a small venue in Bristol
What band do you love musically but hate the members of?
I just like the music. I'm not into poster boys...
What is the most musically involved you have ever been?
I used to hang out with the folk in a couple of local bands in Bath.
What show are you looking forward to?
Nothing booked at the moment. I would have liked to have gone to the Buggles reunion gig in November.
What is your favourite band shirt?
I don't think I have any left. Maybe a Marillion one or two somewhere. Or a shirt with a Platipus logo.
What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
Lisa Gerard
What musician would you like to hump for a day?
Err, no comment!
Sabbath or solo Ozzy?
Sabbath
Commodores or solo Lionel Richie?
Neither.
What was the greatest decade for music?
All of them. There's always great music if you look for it hard enough...
How many music-related videos/dvds do you own?
A handful...
What is your favourite movie soundtrack?
Lisa Gerard's music for "Whalerider"
What's the crappiest CD/record/etc you've ever bought?
Oh, lots of them. Especially when I do the "buy one at random in a second hand record shop". Do I admit to owning a William Shatner CD here?
Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?
CD or vinyl boh work well for me. But I mainly listen to MP3.
All totalled, how much do you spend on music in a month?
Varies. £20 or so I guess.
Last album you paid money for?
Astral Projection, Ten -= a tenth anniversary remix album of tracks by the great Israeli trance band...
Band you'd most like to see / have seen?
The Buggles - round about the recording of Adventures in Modern Recording.
