How many lives is that?
It's been a bit of a traumatic day today, as one of our mogs fell off the roof. We think she was trying to jump from the roof terrace into our bedroom window, which was shut...
Three floors straight down, giving the downstairs neighbours an awful early morning shock, as they were confronted with a shocked cat with a mouth full of foaming blood, and us an urgent drive down to the vet.
Calli is one lucky beast, as the X-rays showed that the only damage was a few broken teeth - not the broken jaw we were fearing. So she's home now, after some emergency dentistry, gumming down her food as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile we have put netting all round the roof terrace, to make sure it doesn't happen again....
Time to breathe again...

Very glad to hear it's worked out okay, all things considered!

That really is more extreme an unorthodox (but nonetheless, intentional) descent than I like to contemplate. Chicken schoop for Calli is called for, I think.

I'm just amazed there was no internal organ damage.
One might enquire of a swimming pool supply firm if they have "child fence" for around the top of your terrace. There are such things over on this side of the pond, and one is found in our yard. The posts retreat, but should you need to use it, they rise from the ground for a separate netting fence to attach to them.
Poor sweetie, poor you-uns.
