Things that go fast...

It's the Farnborough public days this weekend, and as my little brother is over for his fix of Jet A-1 aromatics, we're taking cameras down there on Sunday (along with [livejournal.com profile] marypcb and a picnic).

Anyone interested in meeting up down there? [livejournal.com profile] spride and [livejournal.com profile] drpete, I know you made noises about it...

I shall be bringing the D70 and some longish lenses, too. I am now tooled-up with a gig of CF and three EL-EN3 batteries. Going equipped, I believe to be the phrase.

Hopefully by now the USAF will have worked out how to find Farnborough and not do their display over the wrong airport like they did on Tuesday!

Afraid I'll be going on Saturday as I'm flying down to Guernsey on the sunday in the club PA28. Hopefully I will "do an american bomber pilot" and end up landing in Jersey :)
