Storm Bird

On our last full day in the US, we stood on the edge of the stormy Pacific and watched yet another storm system roll on to shore. The winds whipped up the waves, and torqued the gulls around the sky.

...at least according to this hoarding in Soho Square.

I suspect its the start of surveying the ground for the Tottenham Court Road station extension

That's an impressive number you can now use in all your dinner party conversations. Guaranteed to give you something or other, even if it's just a vague sense of smugness.

The only problem here is that I'm now stuck with the mental image of either Peter or Jon Snow doing something with little plastic figurines to illustrate the factoid.
