I know nothing about Perl but I'm just commenting so you don't feel unloved as this sort of unlikely thing (love song to a prog language - apocalypses??) is just what I like people to do in fanwriting, expose me to stuff I would never have thought about..

What also amused me when writing that short piece, that the music I was listening to at the time (the new Mr C album) was so apt. He's continuing the themes from the last three or four Shamen albums.

Sometimes I think "Destination Eschaton" is a soundtrack for the Singularity.
