Get Tapped

Temperature-sensitive LED-illuminated faucets for the bathroom of tomorrow - today!

Or as they say in kindergarten: "Want! Now!"

Hansa's Canyon is a open-topped faucet, with a set of temperature-sensitive LEDs lining the walls that change colour depending on the temperature of the water - blue for cold, red for hot.

Home made air-conditioning

London is hot today. Too hot.

So I have made my own air conditioning for our office.

It's not difficult to do, and works very quickly. We keep bottles of chilled tap water in the fridge, ready for a quick cold drink. I've poured most of a bottle into a bowl, and put it in front of our big room fan. The fan blows air over the water, which evaporates and cools the air around it. The result: a nice cool stream of air on the backs of our knees.

Ah, the wonders of physics.
