Happy birthday XML...

...seven years old last Thursday.

(and, of course, some shameless self promotion of my Guardian piece celebrating the anniversary...)

Return to the Source

Occasionally people ask me where I dredge up the weird and wonderful links I find for this 'ere blogthingy.

If you find trawling through the blogroll on my front page a little tricky, you can download an OPML file of all RSS feeds from the many blogs I read from both NewsGator Online and Bloglines.

The NewsGator OPML file will always be up to date, as it's synchronised to my usual RSS reader. I manually update Bloglines from time to time.

Most RSS readers understand OPML and will be able to import all these sources, ready to let you waste as much time in front of a screen as I do...

Good news for Tube users (shock horror!)

Fare capping on Oystercard pre-pay will come in at the end of the month!
From 27 February capping on pre-pay cards will be introduced allowing passengers to pay the lowest daily fare once every journey has been assessed. The cap will apply at the appropriate one-day Travelcard or Bus Pass rate.
Rar!

About bloody time too...
