In the support forums for the excellent NewsGator RSS reader, "mjg" noted that:

"First off, though it's not very well-documented you can post to LiveJournal.com accounts using the Blogger plug-in. When configuring the plug-in use http://www.livejournal.com/interface/blogger for the server URL, and your LJ username and password. You can then select your journal or any other community you have posting access to."

So I'm testing it out with this post, right now...
