Hmm. Almost enough to turn a europhile like me into a eurosceptic.

...not only is the telephone number here registered with the TPS, but they've been repeatedly asked not to call with their regular "did you get the paper" survey. Now, this time I got a promise that the number would be removed from the database they use...

As I understand it, just buying a database doesn't absolve you from not checking that the numbers are on the do not call list. If it happens again they're getting reported. I'm through with being "polite and understanding" to them.

Grrrr....
