CES in a Nutshell [Technology, Books and Other Neat Stuff]

So last week we were in Las Vegas for CES. It's a busy, busy week for us tech journalists - as you can see from my pedometer statistics. This year we managed just over 3 more miles than last year, clocking up just under 35 miles in the six days of the show (including the two pre-event press days, and the evening Digital Experience and Showstoppers mini-shows).

I had about a mile less walking - Simon loaded luggage in and out of the car in multiple trips - but I did 34 flights of stairs rather tahn 17, walking up and down to get between a few more press conferences...

I don't have a fitbit, but I made a swag at 16ish miles... but it was probably more. Mostly induced by a lack of taxi availability and the need to get between the LVCC, Venetian and Wynn...

I was riding the escalators more than Mary, as I'm still dealing with the damaged knee/leg from my fall before Christmas...
