I've been carrying a camera with me whenever I go out for over a year now. I feel uncomfortable, like I forgot some essential clothing, if I go out without it.
OTOH, reading stories about photographers being hassled, I'm becoming increasingly cautious about when and where I take the camera out of my bag or pocket.
