According to this (and other) news articles it appears that Sky is looking at buying Easynet, who bought UK Online, the national ISP I helped start in an old brewery in Shepton Mallet.

The chain goes on.

I wonder if the ducks are still there...

Good Lord. I _think_ my domain used to be with UK Online (before moving to Easynet). I moved it away because when they bought out UK Online they completely failed to merge their systems together, which meant that when something went wrong with the domain, they had no idea how to fix it and it took about 48 hours before I had email running again...
