Not A Box - Just A Connector

It's a full IP set-top box built into a SCART plug. The intention is to run VNC or similar, and to be a simple terminal server into what ever media system you want to run - just plug it into an ethernet connection and go.

Now that's something I'd like to plug into my TV.

I rather like my Hauppage MVP. If they could just standardise on what protocol media servers should use, we could commodotise the damn things and everyone could have a small black box under their TVs that talked to their Tivo/Freeview/DVD player and then plugged into the back of their TV.

Forget Firewire, SCART or anything else - the future of interconnectivity should bloody well be TCP/IP.
