Did I need a real reason? if someone offered to sell YOU an engine off a Vulcan, you'd buy it too!

There used to be a scrappy / second-hand shop in Belfast whose proud boast in the seventies was that they'd sell you anything from a dead donkey to a four-engined V bomber without the engines.

We'd a physics teacher who had the front quarter of a Vampire in a shed, but no engines....
