Had something similar happen to me on the way to Eastercon -- nearly got wiped out while overtaking a juggernaut that pulled out without indicating or checking his mirror. He didn't hit me but I overreacted and put the car into a bad wobble that crossed all three lanes before I got it damped down. Brown pants time: last time I did that I ended up spinning out (about fifteen years ago) and this time I was doing close to 80.
