thanks for the link! perlmonger has installed it on our iMac, which holds the house jukebox on a 160Gb external firewire drive, and it's rather sweet.
I'll have to faff about and configure Mozilla to use WinAmp to play stuff, I think - MusicMatch doesn't seem to like http, and Quicktime is not really what I want to play music with, but it holds promise nonetheless. And I shall hold you entirely responsible if a new iMac becomes necessary, as is quite possible if both myself and Pete start streaming off it - poor Angua is only 500Mhz/384Mb.
