Of course if London gets it, we'll all rent out our houses and come stay in Edinburgh for a month...

The thing with Paris is, the IOC wants Paris to have it, as it's the centenary of the death of the chap who founded the modern Olympics, so we might as well let them have fun...

Well, since there's no option given anywhere to text (for example) "not London" to the number, it was suggested (I think at http://hackthebid.org) that the actual text is ignored, and they just count the number of messages they get as supporters.
