Staff at DCMS were told that they had to put an "I'm backing the bid" line in their e-mail auto signatures. Not just those working in Sport policy, either. Most refused, I'm happy to say.

I have that on my sig at work. "[My employer] backs the bid". Doesn't say I do. (My current home sig says - or would if my PC still worked - "HST, 1937-2005. Res Ipsa Loquitor".)
