...amongst one group of UK LJ'ers... is finally getting round to embedding our LJ's in our personal web sites. While I used a standard perl script for my test, [livejournal.com profile] codepope has produced a nifty bit of JavaScript code for his site.

Now all I need to do is design a basic theme for my LJ, and then move the code from my test space to the main site... So, I guess that'll take me another few months!

... which was probably about the last time I updated my web site ;-)

What Simon didn't say was that my Javascript is JSP code for embedding server side, not client side (as it is on your page)...

This means that I could do a LiveJornal bean which would cache, filter and even feed your LJ to a local database.

Ah, that's better then :-) I don't have a server to put such things on unfortunately.

That's because that was a typo. It should have been JSP. I blame brainfade...

hmm ... the ColdFusion tag appears to be slightly lacking. I shall wait for perlmonger to return from his encubement at Motorola and install the necessary Perl module (I Am Not A Programmer).
