The skies above the San Juan Islands are amazing, wide open to the night with no light pollution, and no haze.
The Milky Way runs down the sky, and the constellations stand bright and true, over the faint glow of Victoria. I took my camera, opened the lens wide and let it suck in as many photons as possible,
Post-processed in Lightroom, this is the result. It doesn't do the skies justice.
