Times are bad, children no longer obey their parents and everyone's got a blog. Aug. 14th, 2006.
In June, Google won a place in the Oxford English Dictionary, while "to google", with a lower case "g", was included last month in Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, America's leading reference book. So, will we be googling for Google's google smack downs?
The online service WordSpy, meanwhile, defines "google" as: "To search for information on the Web, particularly by using the Google search engine; to search the Web for information related to a new or potential girlfriend or boyfriend." This is also what pops up first if you type "googling" into Google.

The first two plugins for Windows Live Writer have come out, a Flickr plugin and a tool for adding tags (with a set of templates that include LiveJournal and Technorati tags).
Worth installing if you're playing with it!
(Blogging this as notes for an article I'm writing on it...)
