Beta 2 of 2007 Office came out a couple of weeks ago, and now includes support for blogging directly from Word.
While there’s no direct LJ support, you can use LJ’s ATOM publishing interface (http://www.livejournal.com/interface/atom). Just choose “other”, select ATOM as the API, and use the LJ ATOM URL as the Blog Post URL.
All you need to do is start a blog post, type away happily, and click the publish button in the ribbon when you’re done.
Word 2007 is much better at HTML than previous versions – and now produces valid XHTML as its standard publishing format, without additional code.
