...from its old home on Blogspot to a brand-spanking new site on Wordpress.com. So you'll now find "A New IT World" at itphasechange.wordpress.com.

Blogspot was getting a little too full of spammers for my liking (and that made it harder to get indexed or linked), so it was time to move. I've found Wordpress.com's tools excellent - I was able to copy across the old site, comments and all, in just a few minutes, and I'm slowly getting it tweaked just the way I want.

The LJ syndication, [livejournal.com profile] itphasechange, has been moved, so no need to change anything there.

If you're using another RSS reading tool you should have had a pointer to the new RSS feed already.

I've been playing with Blogcode.com.

It's an interesting idea, a tool that allows collaborative review (and then comparison) of blogs. I've used it to add basic reviews of my sites - they encourage multiple reviews from different people, so feel free to add your impressions of this blog!

Apparently the most similar blog to this one is currently Robert Scoble's...

Following links from the ever helpful Lifehacker, I came across Siteadvisor.

Currently in beta, it's a tool that informs you whether the link you've followed (or even are about to click on) points to a site that delivers malware, or spams you when you give it a registration email.

It's not too obtrusive - though it does add a rating icon to links on Google. You can use a JavaScript-driven pop-up to drill down to find out what was seen as to give a site a bad rating, whether it's sending spam or downloads with embedded spyware.

Rather useful - and available for both IE and Firefox.

Put this one on your parents' PC!

You'll be pleased to know that this blog gets a clean bill of health!
