David Marusek, the author of the excellent Counting Heads (which I recently reviewed for Vector) is blogging the release of his book.

Interesting reading.

Oh, and go buy the book too. An extension of the author's short "We Were Out Of Our Minds With Hoy", it's possibly the best SF novel of the last two or three years. Think of it as the post-scarcity world-building of Cory Doctorow's Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, mixed with the nanotech dystopia of Kathleen Ann Goonan's Queen City Jazz, filtered through the political fire of China Mieville and William Barton.
