Google desktop terminally broken?

Grrr...

There seems to be a huge incompatibility between Google Desktop and Outlook 2003's search folders. If you're using search folders and install Google Desktop, then suddenly you lose access to not only your search folders - but also your calendar and your contacts. Which makes Outlook somewhat unusable...

Now, I like Gmail, but I wasn't planning on switching to it as my main mail service...

Hans Bethe died today, one of the three men behind the best pun in astrophysics - which was also one of the most influential papers ever written.

...and glowing blue memory with chaser LEDs is definitely well down the slope of the hill...



It's as bad as those blue LEDs they put in windscreen washers...
