The ever diligent [livejournal.com profile] marypcb found scans of the document mentioned in my last entry on the National Archives site...

One interesting snippet of information was that there used to be a branch of our favourite Parisian department store in Regent Street...

Introducing (literally?) the Ear Vacuum Cleaner 3. Apparently it's got "amazingly strong suction"...



Only in Japan. And only found via Engadget.

If you're looking at adding an RSS subscription button, or whatever, to your blog, then I'm sure you'll have seen buttons that look like this:



It's easy enough to make your own - just use the simple button design tool provided by Adam Kalsey (as part of a suite of useful web-based blog tools). Choose the colours you want from the pop-up palettes, fill in your text, choose where bars and borders should go, and click submit.

The site will generate a 80 x 15 PNG file, ready for you to copy to your PC and upload wherever you will. Like this one:
