Lisbon Sunrise
I'm just back from a couple of days in one of my favourite cities, Lisbon (without email or LJ!) . I spent three months working there over the winter of 2000-2001, and found it to be friendly, exciting, and very very beautiful.
I woke early on Thursday morning, and took this photograph of the sun rising through the morning haze, over the castle. I think you might be able to tell just why I like Lisbon's seven hills so much...
