The 2003 Google Zeitgeist page is up, listing popular queries. As well as global queries, there's a regional breakdown, so you can see what people in the UK were using as search terms...

Lots of neat graphs showing frequency of specific keywords over time, too.

Into the comet...

...to bring back some dust to Utah...

Stardust will make its comet fly-by later today, in just less than 7 hours, with the aim of returning its sample collection to Earth in two years time.

Elite? No - Ivanova!

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] blufive for pointing out the download site for I've Found Her, a free Babylon 5 flight simulator.

If you've ever wanted to fly a Starfury, now's your chance. It's a tough game with a steep learning curve - the physics model is excellent - but the graphics are very smooth, and give a feel for the B5 universe. Not bad at all for a fan-written game that has its own core engine...
