the_maenad reminded me of a local TV star back home, Oscar Puffin. Like Gus Honeybun (who he's outlived by over 10 years now) Oscar anchors the children's birthday slot on Channel TV, the local TV station on my home island of Jersey.
Oscar never read out my birthday (as far as I can remember), but I wonder if he's ever donetobesv?
