Gamespot reviews "Real Life".

Volumes have already been written about real life, the most accessible and most widely accepted massively multiplayer online role-playing game to date. Featuring believable characters, plenty of lasting appeal, and a lot of challenge and variety, real life is absolutely recommendable to those who've grown weary of all the cookie-cutter games that have tried to emulate its popularity--or to just about anyone, really.

...to understand this table that compares Tablet PCs to various types of burgers.

Which is best, which is worst, and what on earth is a "A&W Rootbeer Burger Meal, with Frosty Root Beer Mug" when it's at home?

Though I do like "In-N-Out" a lot...

It's been hotter than Morocco in London today, and I had to wander into the West End for an Exchange 2003 Reviewer's Workshop. Now, the briefing room at MSN House in Soho is a strange, strange place. Apparently the last owners of the the building ran a gym, and when it was converted into offices it was too expensive to fill the swimming pool in fully - so the architects decided to turn it into a feature...

So I spent the hottest day of the year in a swimming pool.

With no water.

But with PowerPoint...

I've just created a feed for Kevin Kelly's excellent Recomendo site: [livejournal.com profile] recomendokk

From the intro to the site:

Here are my recommendations for cool stuff. I include any books, tools, software, videos, maps, gadgets, hardware, websites, or gear that are extraordinarily handy or useful for individual and small groups. The best items are those that open up new possibilities. I depend on friends and readers to suggest things. Generally I try something out first if I can. I only recommend things I like and I ignore the rest. Tell me what you love. Suggestions for tools better than what I recommend always welcomed.

If you loved the Whole Earth Catalogs, or the Whole Earth Review, it's a feed worth watching.
