This is a little trick for overlaying text in LJ comments and messages (depending on the style used!).



It's fairly simple to do, too...

The HTML I used uses inline CSS to manage the layout.

It helps to put a few lines of padding white space around the code to make sure you don't get nasty layout effects...

We often talk about cat fud, but what if it was cat FUD - the Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt of computer marketing campaigns? So what would cat FUD be?

"Ah, cats, they wake you up at 4.30 in the morning"
"Cats shed white on black, and black on white - it's a fact"
"Did you know hairballs explode on contact with water?"
"That cute kitten? Did you sign the maintenance contract?"
"Upgrade a cat? Fat chance!"

Hmm. Not so much FUD as the truth of living with a pride of the beasts....
