Use Outlook, worried about that email you just sent but think you shouldn't have?

Get rid of those sinking feelings with this useful little tip:

Set up a rule that defers sending an email for 1 or 2 minutes. You can double check the addresses and content, make edits or even delete a message from the queue before it goes (and of course if it's just venting, make sure the flames aren't too hot)...

Using Outlook XP to set up a two minute defer:

Tools->Rules Wizard
New
Start From A Blank Rule
Check messages after sending
Which condition(s) do you want to check? -> None
This rule will be applied to every message you send. Is this correct? -> Yes
What do you want to do with this message? -> defer delivery by a number of minutes
a number of minutes -> 2
Finish

Big Plumber

The hot water has been voted out of the house today.

(But in comes the new hot water cylinder, and lots of other plumbing improvements. Including a biiiiiig pump. A whole 3 bars pressure for the whole new upstairs.)
