...to always have a USB memory stick hooked to my keyring (seeing as they're giving them away at press conferences with the PowerPoints on these days). And I used to have one of those Timex memory watches that used a flashing dot on the screen to synchronise appointments to a small amount of memory, so it could waste battery by scrolling text messages 24 hours a day.

But even I think that this watch really goes a little too far...

For one thing, that USB connector is going to be really uncomfortable.

Hmm. Worrying thought. Am I going to lose my geek credentials for this entry?

...just 7 minutes from posting a request for information for the next Guardian piece on Response Source to getting the first answer..

Now that's what I call an on-the-ball PR.

...is now online!

See the transformation of a Victoria terraced flat into a bigger Victorian terraced flat before your very eyes! Followed by the miracle of the vanishing bank balance!

(Am vaguely annoyed that I cannot change the date format in Adobe's Photoshop Album, which is otherwise an excellent piece of software.)

On this day in 1927 Charles Lindbergh took off from New York (carrying a kitten), aiming to fly to Paris in the City Of St Louis - the first solo transatlantic flight.

While not the first transatlantic flight, nor the first non-stop, Lindbergh did pioneer many of the features we take for granted in modern aircraft.

...the RHS Chelsea Flower Show..

I'm off there with [livejournal.com profile] marypcb on Thursday evening, and will follow up with photos. But in the mean time, here's the BBC's 360 degree garden tours.
