"I knew her, all right: Sister Mary Magdalene of the Special Action Executive of the Poor Clares. The fun nun with the gun. She's helped me crack the Grail caper a few years back, but I'd lost track of her since then. The Clare's SAE was way too catholic in its interests for my way of thinking - and now the seal of the confessional kept me from asking who had hired her."
Mmm. Down these mean streets a warrior monk must go who is not himself mean...
(I do enjoy modern hard-boiled Knight Templar fiction, it puts a nice spin on things...)
