It was dark, the rain poured down, the Tube stopped working...

...I had to walk from Putney Bridge to home, and [livejournal.com profile] spride had shown me how to use the manual functions on my digital camera. What was I to do?

Living with Google...

...is like breathing. You can't survive online without it. Installing the Google toolbar is the first thing you do when you set up a Windows PC with IE. Or at least tweaking Mozilla so it uses Google as its default search engine.

Don't buy BMG Music CDs...

...as they will be copy-protecting all their CDs in Europe, using Cactus Data Shield - a technology that has damaged computers, and is unable to play in most car CD players. And you can just forget about that MP3 player of yours...
