Well, I've finally succumbed to one of the memes going around the geek world big time. Yes, I've gone Mac OS X in a big way - and picked up an nifty little iBook this afternoon. A friend of mine had just bought himself a second hand TiBook, so I bought his iBook from him. I've cleaned it up, and am now installing my software... including iJournal!
So this is the first post via Airport from the iBook. The big question now is, what do I call it?
The desktop is Ogwen (after one of the dragons in Ivor The Engine, the W2K server is Fehen (after my original 7 character Demon node name - which was really Fe Hen - after the Iron Chicken in the Clangers, the old Thinkpad is Thinkerbell (in an obtuse direction from Loisel's Clochette in his Peter Pan BD), and the new Toshiba laptop is Lapcat (because none of the mogs are!)
"The Naming of laptops is a difficult matter,
It isn't just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a laptop must have three different names."
